Exhibitions, workshops, talks & music
May 22 — June 5 2016
Monday–Sundays 11 AM–5 PMShare
The exhibition The Weather Diaries is the underlying theme connecting the events in the Nordic House during this year’s Reykjavík Arts Festival. The exhibition was created by artist duo Cooper & Gorfer in close collaboration with twelve artists and designers from Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
The Weather Diaries exhibition is filled with symbolism, textures and stories. Instead of focusing on seasonal trends, the exhibition digs deeper to explore the creativity of the artists and designers, make references to cultural identity, and scrutinise the influence of nature and weather.
