The First performance in Iceland by the incomparable vertical dance dance group, BANDALOOP. Their stage is a building in downtown Reykjavík. 


A Pioneer in the art form of vertical dance, BANDALOOP seamlessly weaves dynamic physicality, intricate choreography and the art of climbing to turn the dance floor on its side. Under the artistic direction of Amelia Rudolph, the work re-imagines dance, activates public spaces, and inspires wonder and imagination in audiences around the world.


BANDOLOOP honors nature, community and the human spirit through perspective-bending dance.


Some of the spectacular places the company has performed at are New York Stock Exchange, New York, Yosemite National Park, IFC Tower, Seoul, IBM headquarters, Sao Paulo, The Space Needle, Seattle, LIC Building, New Delhi, National Museum, Singapore, Torre Lamberti, Verona, Mountain of Hope Water Tower, South Africa, University of Law Library, Buenos Aires, The Old Post Office (The Kennedy Center), Washington.
